Cancer Solstice Gateway

Life on Earth,
fueled by the Sun,
the wheel is turning
and a new season is born.

Take pause
as the Sun stands still.

How can the magnificent Sun,
in its powerful, perpetual burning,
actually stand still?

It is our perception
as the Sun reaches its northernmost declination
at the Tropic of Cancer.
This re-turning appears as a standstill.

Where is the stillness in your life at this moment?
Maybe you’re saying that there is none;
the long days of constant busyness have captured your evenings
and early dawn arouses with get-going, anxiety or excitement.

Create pause and invite stillness.
You may find it, try it and see or feel or notice
as spaciousness unfolds in stillness.

Take a hold and turn the golden key,
unlock the gateway of Solstice Light.
Open the sacred portal of your Life Fire.
Feel your heart beating as one
with the glowing heart of summer.
You are alive.

The Sun stands still for several days,
You haven’t missed it,
don’t hurry up or stress about it.
Create pause and invite stillness.
You are alive!
