Beyond mathematics,
equal doesn’t indicate
one is the same as another.
It’s about everyone having a voice
to speak, to listen,
to be respected, to be heard.

Summer draws to a close, the Southern Hemisphere tilts away from the Sun and our days grow shorter. As many migratory creatures are taking their cues from the changing light, how may our instincts be guided by the environmental shifts? All of them: earth changes that are congruous and incongruous to the seasons. It is imperative to be attuned and attentive to more than an electronic screen.
The Autumn Equinox (in the Northern Hemisphere) is marked by the Sun ingress to Libra. Within days, Moon in Libra joins the party for a new moon. “No man is an island.” After all the social isolation and sequestering of the recent year and a half, folks are craving connection. Jupiter stands opposite to the new moon with a potential to expand confidence and enrich relationships. On the other hand, expectations may also show up with the tension of learning from the polarity of individuality and partnership. Balance, harmony and beauty are our allies.
