Mercury Retrograde Scorpio

November 3, 2019 By Jacqueline

Look Deeply by Debra Bernier Shaping Spirit 300x300 - Mercury Retrograde Scorpio
The shadow behind the shadow.

Mute questions, obscure answers.
Shifting light upon the liminal path.

What speaks or squeals
or whistles through the cracks,
what erupts from the depths,
the unknown, the unseen.

Open the door to your
secret haunted house.
Your unwanted, ignored,
not really forgotten,
rather not and not right now.

Was
swept under the rug.
Buried. Stashed. Squirreled away.

Is
not going away.

Inner worlds,
submerged reflections
of emotional
and psychological realms.

Investigate
what undermines your truth,
your power
and your vitality.

Which way are you are going?

Breatheface debra bernier 219x300 - Mercury Retrograde Scorpio deeply and breathe deeper
through resistance, anger, and fear.

Breathe deeply and breathe deeper,
each moment is magic.

Retrieve
what is essential.

Release
the burden of denial,
of what you know
and how you feel –

Persevere
and move into a wider sphere.

Mercury Retrograde Scorpio

October 31 – November 20, 2019

Scorpio attunes our attention to what is essential, what makes us feel alive. The baggage that weighs us down, that drains us is more obvious. This passage emphasizes the persistence to excavate, research and purge. Retrieve your birthright – your life.

November 11 – Mercury conjuncts the Sun at the midpoint of the retrograde cycle. It is always a “head’s up” to be aware of what is coming to light. What is unusual at this time, Mercury will be visible as it crosses the face of the Sun. On the West Coast (PST) the transit midpoint will be at sunrise and will end shortly after 10 am.
“By the way, in order to see Mercury transit across the face of the Sun on November 11, you would need a telescope with a safe solar filter. If you have solar eclipse glasses you can look at the Sun safely, but Mercury is so small that you won’t be able to see the planet without the magnification provided by a telescope. Looking at the Sun through an improperly filtered telescope will instantly and permanently blind you. Don’t try to do this yourself unless you really know what you’re doing. Many observatories and astronomy clubs are planning public events. In the east bay, Chabot Observatory will have a public viewing starting at sunrise.” Thank you Anthony Barreiro for important addendum!

Our willingness to cast aside denial,
and awaken to Mystery
leads us to further realizations
of profound knowing and unknowing.

Thanks Jacqueline. I was feeling this Mercury retrograde even before it started! I hope that Mercury retrograde in Scorpio will help us all, individually and collectively, to be truth-tellers and to live with honesty and integrity.
