Gemini Full Moon

Neptune in Pisces squares this Full Moon, blurring boundaries between logic and belief. Gemini Moon keeps the air abuzz with ideas, chatter and gossip. Dazzled or scattered by options or distractions. Be aware of unconscious motivations. Engage imagination with intention or relax and intentionally disengage. Recognize the vulnerability within yourself and others.

Intuition, deep healing and renewal are emphasized. An awareness of the fragility of life. Sleepy, dreamy, musing. Reflect on the unseen. Life is not all it appears. Listen to the waves, the wind, the images and the songs that stir your soul.

Mercury retrograde coincides with the full moon, December 3 – 23. Mercury is the ruler of Gemini (this full moon) and is in Sagittarius (where the Sun is now, opposite Moon in Gemini). There is weighty tension in thoughts and conversation. Some may find it difficult to express themselves or are in positions of restraint. We are in a deep reconsideration of what is the truth. We’ll be hearing even more about “fake news”.

Time for serious decisions. Yet, as we can see, there is more than meets the eye. Can we be realistic without getting depressed? Bogged down with bureaucracy? Stalled negotiations? Scorpio New Moon: Deeper

Scorpio New Moon

Survival. Determination. Mars squares Pluto within 25 hours of the New Moon. Notable as both Mars and Pluto are rulers of Scorpio. This aspect adds an element of conflict and confrontation. It heightens dogged persistence, endurance, strategy and willpower. Stubbornness, control and withholding can create an edgy tension. Sometimes manifests in a ruthless and selfish way. It can indicate a cathartic experience, a great release. Certainly not for relaxing, there is a tremendous amount of energy that can be very productive if focused. Step up to the challenge. Or perhaps step down… if you’re digging deep.

Taurus Full Moon: Essential Values

The theme here is a radical awakening of love and cooperation. The value of love, not as a commodity. The value of our living earth, not as a commodity. Passion for individual freedom of choice. A new vision within the collective consciousness.

Taurus Full Moon

Wounded Truth
The full moon coincides with the final passage of Saturn square Chiron which started December 28, 2016. Again and again, we each grapple with a moral compass as we face what is beyond us. The battle between belief and truth. When and where do we take a role of responsibility in the face of personal suffering?

Saturn has been in Sagittarius for close to 2 1/2 years. A period of restructuring society’s definition of right and wrong, ethical, true and false. We’re still working on it. Jupiter in Scorpio (October 10, 2017 – November 8, 2018) brings enthusiasm, if you will, for unearthing more muck for consideration. Saturn enters Capricorn on December 19. There will be a great weight upon what we build and how we provide for the generations ahead.

Libra New Moon: Balance Redux

Trauma laid bare.
Urgent awakening.
Be aware.

Libra New Moon stands

October 26, Sun conjuncts Jupiter, fresh in Scorpio (Oct. 10, 2017 – Nov. 8, 2018). The lens spirals open a larger view into the secrets of the underworld. As we move towards All Hallows’ Eve, Samhain, midway between the autumn equinox and winter solstice, we begin to draw closer to our ancestors. It is a time of acknowledging life and death, the value of life force and for recognizing our faults and flaws. A powerful time of the season for learning from the past and releasing what no longer serves.

Aries Full Moon

The unique signature of this lunation features the rulers of Libra Sun and Aries Moon, respectively Venus and Mars, in conjunction. Classic representatives of the relationship realm, Venus and Mars are joined together in Virgo. One of the manifestations is that there is a great deal of examination of the nature of desire and action, of attraction and repulsion, and of harmony and individual willfulness. Passions are heightened. A sense of duty and responsibility is aroused, not only due to Virgo, but also to the square to Saturn that culminates October 8-11. Additionally, during that time, Sun conjuncts Mercury and both square Pluto which intensifies instability and catharsis. Careful thought, strategic planning, practicality, mindful service and psychological insight are favored.

Look for Venus and Mars about an hour before sunrise low in the eastern sky. On October 5, the pair will be the closest.

Venus and Mars
Earlier this year, during Aries Venus retrograde: March 4 – April 15, 2017, Venus reappeared as a morning star (Venus’ Heliacal Rise) on March 31 at 1 degree Aries. We are grappling with the evolution of individuality and freedom. Now, as Venus consorts with Mars (in Virgo, the sign of ripened harvest), what are the fruits of our labor? Maybe there is an over-abundance of work to be done or the demands to contain a cohesive whole of scattered tasks.

Take note of where of imbalance between self-motivated actions: “going-it-alone” and engaging in cooperative efforts. Earthy and holistic Virgo shows us where we need to clean up to support health and vitality. Clearly this is a time to coordinate, mediate and come to together so that we can resolve extreme, wacked-out polarities. Witness the sacred marriage of Venus and Mars as they show us the way! Will we follow?
